Psalm 121 got us thinking about God’s presence with us as the One who protects. Who knows what HE is sheltering us from day by day as we come and go?
Suffering and injustice in the world continues to cause us and others to question God’s protection. But Norm ended us on a good note this morning by bringing it back to the personal truth that this Psalm is about “The Creator who is standing beside me…”
Five times the word ‘watches’ appeared in this short psalm. The maker of heaven and earth is also our Abba. Our Abba Father is so eager, so ready and willing to shelter and protect us from all harm now at this very moment and unto eternity. Oh! He is so marvelous and wonderful…indeed no one is like Him. He is the all knowing, ever present, awesome, glorious one and only.
